FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the booking procedure?

To make a no obligation enquiry please go here and I will get back to you with availability and a quote for my fee within 24 hours.

After we have discussed your requirements and and you have decided to book my services, I will ask you to complete a simple Booking Confirmation with all the details of the event (venue address, performance start time etc.) and for some events, request a deposit of 20% of the total fee to secure the booking. An Invoice can be sent separately if you wish. I will then call or email a few days before the event to finalize any last minute details.

For corporate events, a deposit is not usually necessary but a contract with the event details and my terms and conditions is required to be signed and returned. An invoice will be sent one week prior to the event.

How far in advance do I need to book?

There is no minimum or maximum; if I’m available then you can book me. Last minute bookings are always welcome.

How much do you cost?

There is no fixed cost, prices are based on a number of different factors (date, location, length and type of performance etc.) so each event is treated separately and a quote is calculated based on your individual requirements.

The best way to check my fee for your event is to make an enquiry - its free and you are under no obligation.

How long should I book you for a Walkaround performance?

I will suggest appropriate durations during the initial booking process based on the type of event and number of guests. I keep things flexible with a minimum and maximum duration, so I usually suggest either 60 – 90 minutes, 90 – 120 minute or for a very large event, 120+ minutes, but this is rare.

If your guests are eating a meal during the event, I will never perform whilst they are eating. Before or after the meal is the best time, often during the coffee service.

Do you require us to provide anything?

For a close-up performance there are no requirements, just point me in the direction of your guests and I’m ready.

For a cabaret performance, all I require is that your guests are able to see and hear me clearly, so for audiences of over 30 people suitable staging (with access to and from the audience), lighting, microphone and PA system will be needed. If this is something you cannot provide at your venue please let me know and I will do my best to work out a solution.

Do you do children's entertainment?

My act is geared towards a mature audience so no, I do not perform at children’s parties.

How far will you travel?

The majority of my work is in London and the East of England, I have often traveled further afield to Oxfordshire, Somerset, Newcastle and beyond. I am willing to travel worldwide; time and expenses permitting.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes. I am a member of Equity which covers me for up to £10million PLI.

Do you use hypnosis in your shows?

No. Elements of suggestion and psychological influence are used but never hypnosis.
